359/365 Project 2010. Hula Hoop Dude

In Hawai'i you find that people often have unconventional holiday traditions.  We have a tradition of going to the beach.  One year at the beach on Xmas we saw a swimmer in full Santa regalia (FULL!) swimming through the surf, nearly drowning in his red outfit & elastic beard.  One year we saw matching "Santa" Speedo outfits on a male/female body-building couple.  This year, we saw Hula Hoop Dude doing his thang at the edge of the rocks at Richardson's.  We also saw dolphins frolicking in the surf & turtles bobbing in the waves, but it was easier to get pics of Hula Hoop Dude.  Viva Hilo!
