Here is my attempt to start, keep, and struggle with a daily photo journal/diary type thingy for 2010. Course, I didn't get inspired to do this until today - technically the 6th day of 2010 - but the other 5 days - they were just primers for this fantastic beginning. I will start w/ the object of my compassion, the dog I found the day of the Samoan tsunami in the fall of 2009. He was adopted out of compassion, but he's cherished out of sheer stubbornness. He teaches me the zen of the Labrador. He teaches me that nothing is all that bad as long as there is food in the belly (or the promise of food to come) and that touching a human being is sublime. He reminds me to laugh when I want to scream, and he reminds me that every day, several times - I should leave my computer and WALK OUTSIDE - no better, RUN OUTSIDE. He is incorrigible as a student but excels at showing me how to live in the moment.
Project 365:2012. The End of the World, as We Know It - in Pictures
This is a consolidated blog of Bibingkalovesbliss & Bibingkalover. There will be a picture for every day, and there will be food. A lot of it.

Project 365 (-5) 2010 Day 6 (but my first day!)

yay for project 365! I'm doing it again this year and hope to NOT flake. I did it in 2006 and didn't start flaking til like sept or Oct. Mine are all on flickr (easier for me to upload!)
ReplyDeleteWe should have a photo date!
Do you have rules? The rule I made was that I had to take the pic that day - so I wouldn't use old 'stock' photos from yesteryear! That's my challenge - EVERYDAY I have to use my camera no matter what! And then UPLOAD THEM! I don't know why I'm trying to upload to both Flickr & blogspot though - that is crazy. & then I share w/ FB! I might not be as strict about uploading to Flickr because I started 1st with blogger...
ReplyDeleteYeah - we should get together & do a photo shoot so I get some shots OUTSIDE MY YARD!!
my rule? GOTTA be taken on that day. Last time I named each one by the date. this year, so far it's 3/365, etc.... and since you can see (at least on flickr) the day the pic was taken (in the camera notes), I felt I couldn't "cheat".
ReplyDeleteI don't love uploading photos to blogspot, so mine will stay on flickr. uploader there is easy.
also on flickr you can make a nice set for the year
ReplyDeleteAt least blogspot has that handy "share" feature so I can double up my posts w/ FB really simple. I'll post to Flickr as well - but I won't be strict about doing it daily since I can arrange them in the right order simply enough.
