This is the brave dog that, while on a walk through the neighborhood today, heard a pig squeal & subsequently pooped himself shamelessly.  He also subsequently had a nervous breakdown.  I attribute this to his previous experience with wild pigs, the last time he encountered one, he was gored in his abdomen & nearly died of an infection.  Brave pig hunter he is not & will never be.  But I love him...

This tigress has been acting fairly strange since our return.  We found that while we were gone, she'd managed to stretch her collar over her shoulders & it was basically cinched around her waist, a lap-band sort of procedure.  Needless to say, she'd lost some weight AND was extremely happy to see us return & has since been proving herself to be a rather needy & loud presence on the porch.
